The Stand With Meg Show — with Shawn Lee teaching what families were never told.

Meg hosts. Shawn Lee — a criminal trial attorney and U.S. Army veteran — teaches a careful framework for organizing records, understanding possible fraud elements, and finding the right public reporting door. His framework is a theory to evaluate, not a conclusion about anyone's case.

Episodes 1 & 2 are recorded — full episodes live in the subscriber Episode Vault. Subscribe on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok for the monthly passcode and live Q&A schedules.

Electronic court systems can supply the “wire” element — but a wire alone is not fraud.

Under 18 U.S.C. § 1343, prosecutors generally must prove a scheme to defraud, intent, and use of an interstate wire in furtherance of that scheme. Shawn teaches families to separate those elements instead of treating every electronic filing as a crime.

  • A Zoom hearing may involve interstate electronic transmission
  • An e-filed document is transmitted electronically
  • A billing email or portal charge may be relevant only when the other elements are supported by facts

THE UNIVERSAL COMPLAINT

Same story, families all over the country

"I needed a divorce or a custody order — but it cost way more than it should have, took longer than it should have, and oh, by the way, you destroyed our family."

That pattern didn't appear in a vacuum. It rose in direct conjunction with virtual courts — Zoom hearings sold as cheaper because you don't have to drive to the courthouse.
