My history with Tyler Tapp began when I was 18 years old, after a catastrophic car accident resulted in the loss of part of my hand. I required additional surgeries, rehabilitation, therapy, and continued health-insurance coverage. At that time, Tyler Tapp and Sky Tapp were associated with the same law office, and my father was a close personal friend of Sky Tapp. Following my accident, my mother and I were pressured to sign a letter requiring the forfeiture of back child support my father owed in connection with maintaining the health insurance I desperately needed for medical treatment. I clearly remember Tyler Tapp being present when we were required to sign that letter. My mother challenged the arrangement in court and prevailed. The judge restored the child support and my health insurance. Unfortunately, I did not receive all of the surgeries and therapy I needed within the appropriate timeframe, and some treatment for my hand ultimately had to be provided pro bono. What concerns me today is that Tyler Tapp's involvement did not end when I was 18. Decades later, he has represented parties whose interests were adverse to mine and is now involved through representation connected to my custody litigation. Given this history, I believe there are legitimate questions concerning potential conflicts of interest, prior involvement, professional boundaries, access to information, and the appropriateness of subsequent adverse representations. At the time, my daughter's father was a close personal friend of Sky Tapp, according to my firsthand knowledge. Sky Tapp and Tyler Tapp were associated with the same law office. Following my daughter's accident, her health insurance became critically important because she still needed surgeries and extensive treatment. During this period, my daughter and I were pressured into signing a letter requiring me to forfeit the back child support her father owed in connection with maintaining the health-insurance coverage my injured daughter needed. From my perspective as her mother, I experienced this as coercive and essentially blackmail. My daughter had just lost part of her hand. I believed I was being placed in the position of surrendering child-support arrearages in order to protect her access to health insurance and necessary medical treatment. My concerns regarding attorney Tylar Tapp cannot be separated from what I believe is a broader pattern of harassment involving individuals who have become connected to my son's stepmother. The former landlord of my business, who is now friends with my son's stepmother, initiated disputes against me involving my therapy clinic in Garland County. I believe those disputes were part of a larger pattern of conduct directed toward me. My concerns are based on events, relationships, communications, court records, and social-media material that I have personally experienced or preserved. The former landlord knew about my traumatic history with the Tapp family dating back to when I was 18. Following the automobile accident in which I lost part of my hand, I maintain that attorneys associated with Tapp & Tapp were involved when I was pressured to sign a document involving my father, my mother's child-support claim, and my ability to receive health-insurance coverage following the accident. My biological father also had a longstanding friendship with the Tapp family. I believe the former landlord deliberately selected Tylar Tapp to represent her in the Garland County disputes she initiated because she knew about this history and understood the intimidating effect his involvement would have on me. My concerns became even greater when these Garland County relationships crossed into my Pulaski County custody proceedings. When I attempted to subpoena the former landlord regarding information I believed was relevant to my custody case, Tapp represented her in challenging that subpoena.
