Miss Harris was appointed to us by the court as a Guardian Ad Litem to our daughter during a custody issue. We paid her retainer fee of 1,500.00 and she turned in her report 2 days before court. Court rules are that reports need to be turned in 10 days before court. My ex-husband asked for the report to be thrown out because it was turned in late which forced the judge to r e c u s e himself a n d w e h a d to wait for a n o t h e r court date as well as a new judge. Miss Harris was very upset and charged us an additional 3,000.00 without doing any additional work.
