WHAT FAMILIES SAY

In 2022, while married, my husband abused our children and tried strangling me. I called 911 two times. I showed the custody evaluator and the judge evidence and the children disclosed the abuse they suffered. My daughter also disclosed sexual abuse by the father to the custody evaluator. The father hired Alicia Pellegrin to write a report. Alicia Pellegrin never met with the children or with me…
Judge Michael Clement ignored evidence that the father abused our two children and he awarded the father sole custody when he only had supervised visitation for the past three years. Judge Clement also ignored the documented history of domestic violence, photographs, 911 calls, and expert testimony. This court has destroyed two children's lives.
She lied about my mom and it's because my dad told her iles and she believed him. My dad molested me and she wrote a report that said I have to live with him and I don't get to see my mom now.
The system worked with the father to take my children away from their loving mother because father hates mom.
Did not believe the child’s disclosures of sexual abuse even though substantiated by CPS, refused to speak to child’s therapist
Walking through family court felt less like seeking protection and more like trying to survive a system that abuses protective parents. I entered the process believing the truth alone would be enough, and left realizing how complicated and devastating these cases can become for families and children.
