someone told that the attorney is the guardian ad litem, and the judge talk together outside of the support room and I didn’t believe it. It’s until I went through this case myself. It was almost like the hearings were rehearsed, my own attorney included.

Juvenile court has become punitive and not rehabilitative. The state is making money off of destroying families
After working for DHHS and wanting to be the person to help me make a positive change and then seeing how DHHS tore my family apart, it showed how much people care more about power and being right than what is in the right interest of children. Now as a therapist, I hope it can help others, including my own children someday heal from this trauma.
