No discussion of my case would be complete without mentioning opposing counsel, Cathy Welsh. Over the years, she became one of the most influential figures in the litigation. From my perspective, she consistently advocated for increased contact between my children and their father regardless of the concerns that had been raised throughout the case. Time and again, I watched arguments presented that I believed minimized, dismissed, or reframed issues that I considered significant. As the litigation continued, I often found myself feeling as though I was not only fighting my ex-husband's version of events but also fighting a narrative that was being actively constructed around me. Many of the allegations and characterizations presented about me bore little resemblance to my lived experience. Sitting in court and hearing those descriptions was often surreal. Whether those concerns were justified or not, the result was the same: I felt increasingly outmatched by a system that appeared to reward whoever could tell the most persuasive story rather than whoever had the most complete picture of the truth. By the end of the process, my frustration was not simply with one attorney. It was with a system that often seemed more focused on competing narratives than on understanding the full reality of what children and families were experiencing.

This GAL is completely anti-father/ male. If you are a dad trying to be involved with your kids she will work with the mother against you. She also is a terrible communicator and will lie about it

Filed emergency guardianship with false accusations and included zero contact in the order. Procrastinated hearings so I never had due process. After 10 months they simply just dropped the guardianship realized they would finally have to have the emergency hearing and I had performed all tasks and services asked of me like a BEAST!!!! I am a pretty high ranking professional and very dedicated mother. I never should have lost my kids from the beginning!!!

She works in the guardianship circuit. It’s all she does. She is often GAL and goes HARD after parents with zero ethics. She is corrupt and taking kids is how she makes a living.
