Destroyed my faith in child court and what is supposed to be the absolute wellbeing of our kids as a priority. Took years from me and my kids/family we will never get back and has caused trauma to my kids they may never recover from.
Coerced me to give details about a situation with my kids in counseling with my ex while the divorce was still taking place. I expressed that my ex was using the session to fish for information to use against me and she allowed her to do it, even telling me that if I didn’t she would report back to the GAL how difficult I was being.
She ruled that my daughter's disclosure of SA was coached because she had a flat affect and became emotionally distant when discussing the abuse. My daughter has PTSD. That is the typical presentation. My daughter was denied advocacy and protection as a result.
