Meg is the investigative journalist and founder behind Stand With Meg. She reports from lived experience, but she builds every public story around records, sourcing, and the line between what a family reported and what a court actually found.
Meg's life was built around five children: school drop-offs, sports, dance, meals, homework, and bedtime. After an emergency family-court hearing abruptly interrupted that everyday life in January 2024, she began recording the record because private channels were not restoring what had been lost.
Speaking publicly became the first place she could put pain that had nowhere else to go. Then messages began arriving from other parents who recognized their own experiences in hers. One mother's documentation grew into Stand With Meg: the Family Rights Survey, a searchable court-actor registry, state reports, public testimony, investigative shows, and a community of families building a record together.
Meg's work is translation. She takes orders, filings, invoices, timelines, screenshots, and family-submitted reports and turns them into plain English without pretending every allegation is a finding. She has testified publicly, interviewed parents, built tools that help families organize what happened, and kept the underlying submissions protected.
Stand With Meg did not replace her children or return the ordinary mothering life she still misses. It gave the grief a joband gave other families a place to document what they had been trying to say alone.
